CELEBRATE THE FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP 2023 AT MELBOURNE'S OFFICIAL FIFA FAN FESTIVAL!

Fed Square will become the home of all things women's football from July to August

The city's premier event venue and iconic site for sporting moments, Fed Square, will become the official home of the FIFA Fan Festival for Melbourne, where fans, spectators and visitors alike will be able to enjoy the matches, atmosphere and entertainment of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023.

The primary hub for all things football, Melbourne's FIFA Fan Festival will provide a vibrant destination to celebrate the very best women's football in the world. From July 20, catch all the matches on the big screen and enjoy a programme of live music, entertainment, panel discussions and family fun activities, as well as a full food and beverage offering.

The programme across the month features Indigenous Australian singer Sycco, Australian singer songwriter Samantha Jade, as well as a huge entertainment line-up which includes Melbourne DJ's, vocalists, drummers and dancers. Throughout the month, attendees can also expect an array of community and cultural groups from Melbourne, including the city's very talented Melbourne buskers and football tricksters. The FIFA Fan Festival will also include sustainable workshops for kids who can make their very own football, a panel discussion featuring former, capped and future Matildas, plus offer a suite of interactive experiences with activations such as a penalty shootout simulator, and a reaction goalkeeper game where players try to hit the lit-up buttons at the fastest speed possible.

Those looking to grab a bite to eat or something to drink can head to a variety of food trucks and bars serving culinary delights from the 32 competing nations.

Jane Fernandez, Chief Operating Officer (Australia), FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 said, "We are excited to welcome the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 to Melbourne.

"Melbourne will be taken over by a festival of football including the FIFA Fan Festival which will be a month-long celebration, transforming Federation Square into a hub of all things football, culture and community.
